In the SAFe® for Architects course, you’ll get the context to align architecture with business value. You’ll understand how system, solution, and enterprise architects collaboratively deliver architectural solutions. And you will get the guidance and tools you need to work effectively in remote environments with distributed teams.

This 3-day course will prepare you for a role of Solution, System or Enterprise Architect for organizations that work with scaled agile approach. It will provide you with a set of best practices, tools and techniques you can apply to do your work smarter and more efficiently with a greater benefit for your organization.

The training is intended for architects, developers, or technical team managers/leaders.

The training emphasizes the importance of:

  • Understanding SAFe principles – Participants will learn the fundamental principles of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and how to apply them in architectural practices within an enterprise.

  • Collaboration skills – The training focuses on collaboration techniques between various roles, including architects, to ensure alignment and integration within Agile Release Trains (ARTs).

  • Technical alignment – Participants will learn how to align technical decisions with business goals and value streams, ensuring that architecture supports the organization's strategy.

  • Lean-Agile practices – The course covers the application of Lean and Agile practices in architecture, teaching participants how to create flexible and adaptive architectural solutions.

  • Increasing agility – Prepares architects to support large-scale Agile transformations, enabling organizations to quickly respond to changing requirements and deliver value more efficiently.

Participants will have the opportunity to:

  • Gain a broader understanding of best architectural practices within SAFe, enhancing their professional skill set.

The training is intended for everyone interested in this subject, however a SAFe experience or Leading SAFe/SAFe for Teams course is a must before attending SAFe Architect.

Note: If you intend to take the SAFe® Architect Certification Examination, you should have:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Architect role in Agile environment
  • Training: English
  • Materials: English
  • Exam: English

Examination is conducted in online version at  Scaled agile platform.

The participants gain access to examination after confirming attendance at the training. They can take the exam within 30 days after gaining access.
